The brown coal beds in Abildaa function as a working museum. During the summer period, life in the brown coal beds is re-enacted. Before, during and after WW2 approx. 300 people worked in the brown coal beds and performed the brown coal excavation.
Visitors can also take a walk and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Participate in a guidet tour of the old Danish market town Ringkobing. The houses, with their red tiled roofs, the town’s cobbled streets and the cosy harbour makes Ringkobing the perfect excursion destination. The history og Ringkobing can be traced back to the 1200s, and the town gained market town rights in 1433. Ringkobing is situated at the inlet Ringkobing Fjord and soon became an important port town.
The last stop of the day is Sondervig. Here it is possible to take a walk along the shores of the North Sea and feel the wind in your hair.
