The Freshwater Centre’s Training Department is the most important provider of training courses & education programs on wastewater treatment and wastewater management in Denmark.

The courses are developed and offered in close co-operation with a broad spectrum of public organizations and private companies.

The training is performed by professional teachers from several of the most important and professional consulting and wastewater treatment companies in Denmark, along with experienced municipal workers from Danish wastewater treatment plants.

The courses consist of a mixture of theoretical training and a number of field trips. 

Topics such as environmental understanding and the history of wastewater treatment in Denmark will be treated at length, and a general introduction to wastewater treatment, wastewater planning and sewage systems will be given.
